Nicki came into our care recently, a lovely friendly young black cat. We added her to this page and a few days later got a phonecall from Nicki's owner who had spotted her here. Nicki had been missing for a whole month, so we are very happy for her to be reunited with her family!

Dyson
Dyson has been scrounging for food for a few weeks. He is a lovely ginger and white male. He has been neutered and is very frightened at the moment. We would love to reunite him with his owners and help him find his way home. Please phone 771642 if you recognize this lovely tom.
Small black and white cat
Black & white cat found dead close a house called Calvyden in Finstown, this house is on left if you are driving from stromness to kirkwall.
Tabby found dead
Adult tabby cat with white belly found dead by the side of the road at the Stromness side of Stenness, approx. half a mile up the road.
White cat found dead
17.8.09 White cat found dead on Grainshore Road, outside Streamline's site. Completely white with a small amount of black/tabby cat. The cat at an estimate was maybe 5 or 6 years old and was female whom had recently had kittens.
Grey tabby cat found dead
10.8.09 Grey tabby cat found dead on the road, in Finstown opposite Pottingers. this is an adult neutered male cat wearing a green tartan collar. the cat is at Flett and Carmicheal vets 872859
Big female ginger and white cat
Big female ginger and white cat has been visiting us for a few months, it started off she'd come by now and again but this past couple of weeks she's hardly left the house, she had a black reflective collar up until a few weeks ago but it was replaced with a blue sparkly one with a bell, she still must go to her owners as she's had her collar replaced, there's no name or number on it though, I think she might be pregnant as he nipples had started swelling and she has put on weight and her appetites gone wild. I've asked my neighbours if they've seen her before but no one around Cromwell road has, if your missing her please get in touch with Cassie or Gavin on 01856 874727 (we nicked named her Kenny till we found out it was a girl :D) the address is Elfort, Cromwell road in Kirkwall

Found dead black and white cat with a distinctively short tail. Hit by a car at the Pottingers junction in Finstown 14.5.09
Dead cat found
One of our volunteers found a dead cat on the Heddle Hill on land towards the quarry. The unfortunate cat is grey/torti/pale ginger with some white - small to medium size.

Tabby/ginger cat
This pretty young tabby/ginger cat is being taken care of by a friendly cat lover on the Yesnaby Road, Sandwick. He/she is nervous but very friendly. If you, or someone you know, has lost a cat that looks a lot like this friendly young cat, please get in touch with us on 771642.

16/09/08 - These two cats, one white and one tabby/white have been found in a barn in Dounby last week. Do you recognize them? Give us a call on 771642.
Tabby
A tiger striped tabby female cat was accidentally trapped on Wednesday 26th August with other feral cats. This cat is not feral but slightly nervous. You can stroke her but she will initially hiss so she is definitely not feral. She has been spayed in the past. Her age is somewhere between 1 to 6 years old. If you recognize her, please call us on 771642.
Dorian
27/06/08 This male cat has been in the Quoyloo area, and has been bullying cats belonging to the lady who has been kindly feeding him. He is not feral, as he feels comfortable coming into the house, and can be stroked. If anyone recognises him, please contact Kathleen Buchanan, 2 Daisybank, Quoyloo, Stromness, 01856 841871.
13/10/07 Brown tabby, large male, neutered. Handed in to Flett & Carmichael. Has tartan collar with phone 876798. Called by vet and OICP several times but no answer.
