We are always looking for people interested in helping us with fundraising. If you can help us in any way, please get in touch.
Do you have items that we can sell in our car boot sales? Please let us know and we can come and pick these up, or you can drop them off at our center.
Do you have spare blankets, cat bowls, litter trays, etc. that you don't use? Please donate these to our branch, as we never have enough of any of these items.
Do you have time to organize an event for us, for instance a coffee morning? Please get in touch with us.
Although Orkney Islands Cats Protection is now an official branch of Cats Protection, we do not get funding for the daily running of our branch, which is where your kind donation will help us. As you can imagine the vet and food bills are substantial, and any amount that you can give towards helping us care for the cats is greatly appreciated.
We currently cannot accept credit/debit card donations, but hope to have a PayPal account attached to this website soon.
In the meantime, if you would like to make a donation, please download our single donation form, fill this in and send it together with a cheque/postal order, made payable to Orkney Islands Cats Protection, to the address on the form
Use Gift Aid and you can make your donation worth more. For every pound you give to us, we get an extra 28 pence from the Inland Revenue. Please fill in the appropriate section on the donation form.
To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax must equal at least the amount we claim in the tax year.
The scheme applies to any gifts you have made since April 6th 2000. Please visit this page inside the main Cats Protection website for more information (new window).
As an alternative to the single donation, if you would like to make a regular donation to our branch, please visit our 'sponsor a cat cabin' page.
If you would like to receive a quarterly newsletter and stay up to date on the goings on at Orkney Islands Cats Protection, we kindly invite you to become a member. It only costs £8.00 a year, please read more on the memberships page.
